Note: Telegram rarely filters invisible characters, so this trick is very stable.
Zero Width Space (U+200B) is a Unicode character with no visual width. Telegram's text engine treats it as a real character, so it works in names and bios without showing any visible mark. It is also extremely stable across all Telegram versions.
Step 1: Copy Zero Width Space (U+200B) from the tool above.
Step 2: Open Telegram and go to Settings.
Step 3: Tap on your profile name.
Step 4: Delete the existing name and paste the invisible character.
Step 5: Tap the checkmark to save. Your name will now appear blank to everyone.
If the invisible name doesn't look blank:
– Make sure you copied a pure invisible character, not a regular space.
– Use Zero Width No‑Break Space (U+FEFF) instead – it also works well.
– Update Telegram and try again.
– On desktop, switch to a different character if you see a tiny line.
– Blank Channel Name: Create a channel or group with no visible title.
